Rochdale 0 Millwall 1, League One, Game 30, 13/2/16, att;2,882 (we take 873)

A solid worked away win in a windy wet northern town at a football club with hardly any supporters

It's been awhile since we last played here, which was back in the 60's. We won that game then and keeping with the theme we won again. Lee Gregory was once again on target which now makes his overall tally of 19 goals this season and our 5th away win on the bounce, happy days. It was a bit of a journey for the team coming up for this game and it took them seven hours to get there, the weather was absolute crap. The pitch was taking a battering from the rain as the game got under way and the wet heavy pitch did not stop us creating chances and slinging in a few corners. Rochdale were giving it a go and the game swung one way then the other.

The second 45 minutes carried on much about the same as the first with the Lions putting in a shift all over the pitch. Sid Nelson and Mahion Romeo deserve a mention for the work that they put in and it didn't take long for Lee Gregory to score as he picked up the ball from a Steve Morison miss-hit shot. The 882 travelling Wall supporters who made up nearly a third of the attendance and with most of the second half still to go roared on the Lions to the finish. We finished strong and our counter attacking play gave Rochdale problems to the end. That's another away win and another three points, as I said earlier "happy days"
